Facilities

Each class in King’s Infants has its own vibrant and well-equipped classroom.

Technology is used to enhance delivery of the curriculum through the use of interactive whiteboards in all classrooms, our ICT Suite and iPads for Junior classes.

In addition, our EYFS Centre has its own small IT suite and a self-contained dining room for just our Pre-School and Reception children.

Our Pre-School, Reception and Year 1 classes all have direct access to an Outdoor Classroom, which is different from play areas, and is very much a learning zone to compliment the teaching that goes on indoors.

In addition, our Gingko Meadow provides our very own Wildlife Study Area with separate habitat areas for hedgerow, woodland, bog and dry areas. It provides a marvellous resource for the whole school and is regularly in use throughout the seasons. Our two new adventure trim-trails are all-weather play areas that provide stimulus during play times, and our extensive grounds overlooking the hills are used regularly all year round.

All the children come together for Assembly in their own Infant Hall four times a week.  The Hall is also used each day for the After-School Club. The infants’ education is enhanced still further by sharing the site’s superb facilities:

300 seat Assembly Hall for concerts, plays etc.
