Introduction

King’s is a selective school and the admissions procedure is designed to ensure that pupils will enjoy a challenging academic curriculum. All candidates, with the exception of King’s Infants (aged 3 – 7) are required to sit an Entrance Assessment. For entry to the infants, children are offered places by date of application.

Our own Junior pupils who joined King's prior to the start of Year 5 are not required to sit the 11+ Entrance Examination and are offered assessed places for the Seniors. Any pupils joining King's Juniors after the October half-term of Year 5 will be required to take the 11+ Entrance Examination in order to gain entry to the Senior Girls' and Boys' Divisions.

Admissions for every age group are handled by our Admissions team. As arrangements vary depending on the age of your child, we recommend that you get in touch with us so that we can explain the procedures to you.

Each Division has its own page on this site, so please use the menu on the left to browse.

To request a copy of our Prospectus and Information Pack, please complete the online Information Pack Request Form.
